Welcome to the Eugene Sara Marine Corps League, serving the Billings community for 40 years.. Our goal is to get to know fellow Marines in Yellowstone County so that we may connect and support each other, regardless of when you served. We hope you will become familiar with our detachment and what we are doing in the community. At times, people outside the Marine Corps Community will be asked to help out in various ways and our hope is you will contact us and ask how to get involved. Marines served their country with passion and commitment. We are calling all former Marines to join us to serve our community with that same Esprit Decor. The Marine Corp League has partnered with the most needed non-profits, those that directly impact the lives of the people in Yellowstone County. The following organizations are in need of members of the League to help provide needed resources. Mentorship is the most frequently asked request, as our community needs our leadership and assistance with their clients. For as little as an hour a week or month, could change the lives of people who are in need of hope, direction and fellowship. Call today to find out how you can serve our community, they need you and so do we.
There are many ways to join with the Eugene Sara Detachment. If you are a Marine you can join by submitting an application with the $35 fee and a copy of your DD214. You will be invited to a meeting - our meetings are the 2nd Monday of the month (except June-August) at the VFW in the Height Billings. Once you attend we hope you will become involved in our activities throughout the County and State.
During November and December we will be working with the Marine Corps staff and Reserve Unit in collecting toys and donations for Toys for Tots.
We're also trying to connect with Marines in the area who may not want to join the league, but would like to know of Marine events in Yellowstone County or Montana and hopefully this website will help to that end
